One Hour Sooner is an investigative multimedia report on agricultural communities living in close proximity to conflict. The project is being conducted over three reporting trips to Iraqi Kurdistan, where the war on ISIS threatens the way of life for industrial farmers living near the front line. With few resources or desire to abandon the land their ancestors have cultivated for generations, the farmers are left with little choice but to wait out a dangerous war with seemingly no end as their fields lay fallow and families remain in danger.
